The feline equivalent of Handguns and Dancing Girls. This is what I will come home to. Chicken is running wild. There are no dogs in the house. Not even one.
Sadly there is not me either.
Cooch had to go back to the kennels. Patch is staying with Brookes mum and her 2 staffys and greyhound Louise. I am staying at my mums.
I would have taken Patch with me but mum doesn't have a fenced yard. I would also have liked to take Chicken, but as you can see, he has taken over the dogs beds and is quite happy...
I am still adopting Patch, I am just having a meltdown and needed to get away for a few days. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Now all I want is to go home and have Chicken and Patch there to make me feel better. They are the best therapy in the world, and right when I need them most I haven't got them. Life sux sometimes.
No doubt Patch is having a ball, when I dropped her off Louise was so excited to see her, they ran like idiots up and down the back yard before settling down to collect toys. I know she is being really well looked after and I can't thank Chris enough for taking her at such short notice. Really couldn't face putting her in kennels. I'd like to think she is missing me.... I certainly miss her. Will go and visit her and maybe that will make things look brighter.
